The modern health care environment is becoming increasingly complex  and  people now seldom work alone.  Interdependencies exist between the same professionals, multidisciplinary staff and patient to professional.  The ability of staff to work in a team is at the core of effective health care. Yet too often, the skills required for teamwork are left to chance. There is a need for education to assist those who face challenges leading or working in teams.

Aims and Objectives

The aim of this two day seminar is to offer a forum for all health care staff to reflect on the importance and nature of teams in the provision of high quality healthcare.
