Description

This lecture  begins with a brief discussion on retrospective and prospective audits. The speaker then reviews the necessary preparation required  for performing an audit in a health organisation. How to identify priority audit areas and key stakeholders in an audit is addressed as is how to engage and prepare members of the workplace for an audit. Ethical and legal issues concerning audits are briefly discussed in addition to establishing appropriate schedules and timeline for audits.

Mandy has worked in senior nursing roles in the public and private health care sectors. Her post-graduate qualifications include a Certificate of Human Resource Management.
