Understanding and responding to high impact and high prevalence risk is a requirement for all aged care providers from board and executive management to RN, ENs and care staff. Standard 3 of the Aged Care Quality Standards clearly outlines the need to comply with the effective management of high-impact or high-prevalence risks associated with the care of each consumer.
