CPD/CNE Contact Hours
1 CPD/CNE hour(s) for the entire VLA and follow-up, consisting of:
- 40 minute (approx.) illustrated video activity
- 15 minutes for self-evaluation using the Test-Your-Learning questions and completion of the activity evaluation of the VLA. In addition, learners are encouraged to reflect on their practice by documenting this in their CPD Organiser or other CPD/CNE portfolio
Method of Delivery
This educational VLA is presented in an engaging and convenient ‘school-of-one’ online delivery format. The activity contains:
- An illustrated video lecture
- Self-evaluation using Test-Your-Learning questions, reflecting on the learner’s practice and documenting in CPD Organiser or other CPD/CNE portfolio
- Opportunity for review of resource material including:
- References
- Link to online lectures of relevance
- Information regarding related conferences when available
- Evaluation survey designed to determine how the learner’s knowledge has been enhanced and strengthened by completing the VLA
- Certificate of Completion
Requirements for Successful Completion
In order to finish the CPD activity and be rewarded an Activity Completion Certificate, the learner will need to:
- Watch the video
- Achieve 100% in the Test-Your-Learning questions
- You can review the video and attempt the test your learning questions as often as necessary to achieve a 100% score, but it is important to demonstrate a high level of learning across all aspects of this topic and to ensure that all learning outcomes have been achieved before completion.
- Document the learning in the CPD Organiser or other CPD/CNE portfolio
- Complete the evaluation of the VLA
- This is an important part of your CPD enabling you to reflect on your learning and is a critical contribution to Ausmed Education’s ongoing quality improvement. Your comments will be combined with other evaluations and analysed for evidence. You will not be identified anywhere in this process. Results may be may be used in presentations or publications.
