Lynn Chenoweth

Dr Lynn Chenoweth began working as a clinical nurse in 1966 and has worked as a nurse manager, educator, and researcher. In her doctoral studies, Lynn evaluated outcome standards in aged care and the effect of these standards on the lives of older residents in nursing homes. Since then she has taught and conducted research in the areas of dementia management, improving care practices, and health outcomes for older people in a range of care settings. Lynn is currently the director of the Health and Ageing Research Unit, South-Eastern Sydney Area Health Service, and is professor of Aged and Extended Care Nursing at the University of Technology, Sydney (Australia).
