BN, Grad Cert Clin Nurs (Intensive Care)
Zoe Youl is a Registered Nurse with a background in Critical Care Nursing. She holds a postgraduate qualification in Clinical Nursing (Intensive Care). Zoe works concurrently as a Nurse Planner (Events) at Ausmed Education and as a Critical Care Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit of a large private hospital in Melbourne. She is a passionate teacher, with experience as a Sessional Academic teaching undergraduate nursing students and is always ready to act as a preceptor or mentor to students and graduate nurses in the Intensive Care Unit. Zoe enjoys the challenge of balancing clinical nursing with a unique role at Ausmed Education as a Nurse Planner in the Events Department. In this role, she coordinates the development of Ausmed's 300+ conferences and seminars run nationally around Australia for nurses and midwives. Zoe is a member of the Australian College of Critical Care Nurses (ACCCN) and the Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD). Zoe is currently undertaking a Master of Nursing (Leadership and Management). Zoe is a co-founder of Melbourne-based networking group THE Women, designed to support women working in tech, health and education. She writes about current topics relevant to the nursing profession at her blog zoeyoul.com.
