Jeremy’s professional and personal background is colourful and diverse. Originally trained as a registered nurse, Jeremy has worked in a range of conventional and not so conventional health care and corporate business environments. He has studied at Masters level in health care, business, and organisational behaviour and has been practicing and studying Mindfulness and Acceptance Commitment Therapy for many years. Jeremy’s work experience includes senior management & national operations roles in the corporate sector. He has worked as a consultant for a range of organisations, including Federal & State Government, Mining sector, Health Care, Aid and Development, Financial Services, and Educational Institutions to name a few. He worked as a flight paramedic for a ‘flying doctor’ service in the Arctic Circle, ran medical clinics on ships in Alaska and the Caribbean, and even spent time in a maximum-security prison… working! He was a university lecturer in Australia and Canada, and has worked in various remote area nursing positions with indigenous populations in Northern Canada, and the Australian outback. Jeremy also worked in several mental health facilities & trauma centres in Australia & North America, and held the position of Health Safety and Security Manager for Australian Red Cross’s international operations.
