Emmy-Lou Hamley

Emmy-Lou Hamley graduated from the University of Queensland in Brisbane with a Master's degree in Nursing (Mental Health). She began her career in general nursing in 2003, and has since spent time in Brisbane working as a Registered Nurse in Acute Adult Mental Health, Forensic Mental Health and more recently as a Clinical Nurse in Community Child and Youth Mental Health. Emmy-Lou has a keen interest in child and adolescent health and development, as well as technology and its role in health promotion. She was the Project Manager for the 'Promoting Healthy Sexual Development' research project at QUT in 2011, and has also been involved in local community initiatives, including the online flood relief organisation Floodaid and the online anti-binge-drinking organisation Hello Sunday Morning.
