Course Overview

All healthcare practitioners who have any dealings with medications must ensure they are fully conversant with medication safety. This Ausmed Training Module will help the participant understand the principles of medication safety. The module is designed to facilitate the enhancement of the participant’s knowledge, skills and practice in regard to medication safety, and provide strategies to assist in closing any existing gaps.

Target Audience

This medication safety module is intended for staff commencing at any level in the healthcare sector who, when working within their scope of practice, will have dealings with medications.
