Nursing Care of Motor Neurone Disease (MND)

8m of CPD
The term motor neurone disease (MND) refers to a group of progressive neurological diseases that attack motor neurons in the body, eventually causing the muscles to waste away. To date, there is no known cure or effective treatment for MND. There are around 2,000 Australians living with MND, and 2 people die from the disease every day.

this was very informative about the desease and making the person as comfortable as we can as they will be experiencing great difficulty living with this and medicine will only help for an extra 2 to 3 months extra on their life. It is very informative to have read about this illness. Having to dye from lung failure is what will finally cause death.
